Happy Anniversary Darling

Etchings of the Heart by Susan Cudahy Happy Anniversary Darling!

From Susan's Journal:
What a beautiful day ... stepping out on the balcony for a little quiet time with my Lord ... my prayer was that he would bless this marriage. We had come all this way to Tennessee ... just the two of us ... I asked that when I walk down the aisle ... he would walk beside me ... and I believe he did.

We got married in a little white chapel nestled in the Smoke Mountains. Our pastor ... an Evangelistic  minister said he could tell how much we loved each other just by looking at us. The ceremony was beautiful and based on one of my favorite chapters and verses: 1 Corinthians 13: 4-7

Love is patient ... love is kind ... it does not envy ... it does not boast ... it is not proud ... it is not rude ... it is not self seeking ... it is not easily angered ... it keeps no record of wrongs.

Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects ... always trusts ... always hopes ... always perseveres.

You looked so handsome in your dark gray pinstripe suit. What a wonderful man the Lord has chosen for my husband. We get a long so well. You're kind, loving and have such a wonderful sense of humor. I'm sure we'll rely on that going forward.

Today: That day I married my friend ... the one I laugh with and live for ... dream with and love  ... Happy Anniversary Darling!

Waiting for that BIG Catch * Lake Josephine * Minnesota

Etchings of the Heart by Susan Cudahy Still waiting on the BIG one.

I have fond memories of going fishing with Dad and my brothers. It was always so exciting. We couldn't wait to get our fishing poles in the water ...

I had to smile when I saw this young man fishing. He just didn't want to quit ... I know he was waiting on that BIG catch. Let your imagination wonder ...

June Greetings

My windows are open. I can hear the sweet music of birds. They too must be happy the warm days  of June have arrived. It's beautiful, the early afternoon sun is peaking through the trees as a soft breeze gently moves the leaves. Our home is filled with the scent of the freshly mowed grass. It's picture perfect!

Thoughts for the day: If you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding ... wisdom will enter your heart and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul. Proverbs 2:3,10 niv
